In the Trees was a track not included in the HJC album (digital re-release June 1, 2019) but is available here “from the vault” for your enjoyment. 

Three repetitive dominant 7th chord hits (Eb-Db-Eb, sounding like “In-The-Trees”) set the catchy and bold tone for this track. The hardbop tune features Brandon on alto sax (the only alto track recorded for the album), Cengiz Yaltaka on piano, and Eldad Tarmu on the vibraphone. The late Steven Sykes also contributes with a brief but energitic drum solo before the recap on the melody.
