I have been working hard mixing 27 tracks for The Jimmy Stahl Big Band, American Songbook project. I am excited to share that some of these recordings were nominated for two awards and won on September 29th, 2019 for “Jazz Artist of the Year”!

There were over 700 submissions for the 2019 Niagara Music Awards and the group was nominated in the categories: Female Artist with Genevieve-Renee Bisson and Jazz Artist The Jimmy Stahl Big Band with Genevieve-Renee Bisson. See Niagara Music Awards for more details.

The Big Band had the honour to perform 2 songs at the ceremony which took place at Scotiabank Centre in Niagara Falls, Ontario. It was an amazing night to perform with a wide array of great artists from the Niagara area, including  Leroy Emmanuel and his Niagara band LMT Connection who received a Lifetime Achievement Award.
