I am excited to announce that the Brazosport Symphony Orchestra is set to perform my animated piece “Lindy Suite” as part of their “Bella Italia” concert on October 2nd, 2021. The performance will take place at The Clarion at Brazosport College.

More About the Lindy Suite

Brandon Walker’s Lindy Suite embodies the musical adventure of the composer’s young daughter in five short movements. The first adventure that came to life, Lindy Flies A Kite, premiered at Lindy’s first birthday party. More stories ensued as a prequel to Kite: Adventure Begins commences with much excitement and quickly settles into a light, Ravel-esque orchestration, full of curiosity and escapade. Rides A Bike, a rollercoaster of fun and triumph in the vein of Saint-Saëns. In contrast,more graceful pose follows with the elegant Dance and the Debussy-esque Dreams withflowing harp and half-diminished scale arpeggios.

Brazosport Symphony Orchestra is a world-class symphony orchestra based in southern Brazoria County. Under the direction of Brian Casey, the orchestra presents a full season of classical and pops concerts in The Clarion Music Performance Hall at Brazosport College. Brazosport Symphony Orchestra is registered as a 501(c)(3) not for profit charitable and educational organization with the Internal Revenue Services.
